Kay, Contracting Officer Continuous on-site maintenance for an Anacomp XC-2580 computer output microfiche system located at the Defense Printing Service Detachment Office (DPSDO), Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Building 167, 5th floor, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii for the period of 01 February 1996 through 30 September 1996 with three (3) twelve-month option periods. The Government intends to include the option clause FAR 52.217-8 in the solicitation. Maintenance shall include all parts (original equipment manufacturer parts only), labor, weekly preventive maintenance inspections, unlimited service calls with a response time of 24 hours, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and emergency maintenance service outside the principal period of maintenance with a minimum of 2 hours per call. Contractor shall submit with initial offer: proposed technician's resume demonstrating specific experience with the XC2580 proposed procedure plan to monitor the introduction of, procurement and installation of future software upgrades and provide the name and telephone number of company(s) from which parts will be obtained and state how long it will take to reach the job site.
