The 74th Medical Group, Medical Computer Systems Office at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio requires maintenance on Government owned Wang hardware equipment used for the support of primary information needs for all health care and administrative requirements. Wang Laboratories, Inc., is the OEM and the only source capable of satisfying our requirement for installation modification, upgrading, and trouble shooting the Prolong Operating System. No other vendor can supply the software maintenance support. The software proprietary and no other individual or company has access to the source code, therefore, hardware and software coverage must be provided by the OEM.
