Pennsylvania Air National Guard, 171st Air Refueler Wing, Pittsburgh
International Airport, Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. The scope of work
includes, but not limited to, providing all plant, materials, tools,
labor, equipment, devices, supervision, and transportation necessary to
construct an approximate 26,000 square foot fuel cell/corrosion control
facility. The work consists of demolition and relocation of existing
site utilities, storm drainage systems, fueling and underground piping
systems, aircraft parking apron demolition, removal and replacement
for unsuitable soils materials, installation of new utilities, and the
construction of approximately 26,000 square foot of aircraft
maintenance hangar with administrative areas, fire protection systems
installation, and construction of new aircraft aprons. The performance
has been estimated at 365 calendar days. The estimated construction
range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation shall be
issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The project date for
availability of the IFB is 10 JAN 96 with a projected Bid Opening date
of 10 FEB 96. There will be a $200 charge for the solicitation
documents. Availability will be on a first come, first serve basis. An
inspection package will be available at the United States Property &
Fiscal Office, FTIG, Annville, PA. Upon document availability date,
complete inspection packages will be available at Dodge Reports in
Harrisburg, Harrisburg builders Exchange, and Pittsburgh Builders
Exchange. Interested concerns should submit as early as possible, but
NLT fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice,
indicate interest in bidding the project as a prime contractor or as a
subcontractor, and provide evidence of your capability to perform
including references for similar work with contract numbers, points of
contact, and telephone numbers, and if appropriate, a positive
statement of eligibility as a small socially and disadvantaged business
(SDB) concern. In addition, dollar amount of current construction
bonding capability is required. The Contracting Officer ill utilize the
information received to make a decision to issue this solicitation as
set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) or as an
''UNRESTRICTED'' without further notice. Therefore, replies to this
notice are requested from all interested business concerns, as well as
from SDB concerns. Replies must indicate the firm's size status such
as large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, or
8(a). The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1542. The
applicable small business size standard including affiliates is no more
than $17 million average annual revenue for the previous three years.
Each business must also include their Federal Tax Identification number
