Construction of paved multi-use trails, site furnishings, bus shelters, benches and litter receptacles. 2. Block scale improvement of ornamental trees, plantings at intersections to mark entry streets. 3. Construction of sidewalks including a pedestrian bridge across U.S. Hwy 98. 4. Construction of 9' x 12' storage units (25 each) in Pine Shadows area. JOB DESCRIPTION: A. The work to be performed includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following principal features: 1. Layout and construct pre-engineered pedestrian bridge with reinforced concrete footings including concrete piers, ramps and landings. 2. Layout and establish at the site, the location of the multi-use trails, planting, crosswalks and site features including furnishings. 3. Fabricate and construct a storage addition to the existing housing, including but not limited to, layout and construct exterior walls including door openings; roof framing/sheathing/shingles, finishes and trim; complete the exterior and interior of the building including mechanical and electrical systems. B. Phasing of Work: 1. Phase one: Complete all work associated with construction of pre-engineered pedestrian bridge/ramps and foundations. 2. Phase Two: Begin after completion of all Phase One work; construction of multi-use trails, planting crosswalks, site features and storage unit additions. There is a non-refundable charge of $24.00 for each solicitation package. Checks, money orders or bank drafts are the only acceptable forms of payment, they should be made payable to Accounting and Finance. Only written requests will be accepted. The request and check, money order or bank draft must bear the solicitation number. This is unrestricted acquisition. Estimated magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. (0297)
