PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. Eglin AFB base has a requirement to Improve/Repair Capehart Military Family Housing (MFH) Units, Eglin AFB FL. The BOD of 26 Dec 95 is only an estimated date. Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment, and perform all operations in connection with the improvements and repairs to Capehart MFH Units. In general, work shall consist of the following: Removal of certain existing walls, doors, windows, ceiling, wall and floor finishes, and other miscellaneous items, construction of building additions to all units, alterations to certain areas of existing buildings, construction of concrete patios, stoops and walks, enlarging window opening in dining room walls and installing siding glass doors, patching of floors, walls and ceilings where alterations occur, reroofing of existing roof area, installation of gutters and downspouts in certain locations and replacing existing gutters and downspouts, etc. Work under this contract requires relocation of certain existing telephone and television equipment and underground gas lines and valves. Performance period shall be 472 calendar days. Estimated dollar range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small or small disadvantaged business. Solicitation packages are available at a $20.00 charge. All requests must be submitted in writing.
