Jerry Williams, GP56/Contracting Officer This procurement is for Base Maintenance Mission Services for the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), Institutional and Program Support Directorate -- The contractor shall provide mission services for operation and maintenance of MSFC facilities, collateral equipment, and related functions; custodial; refuse collection; renovation, modification, construction; and environmental support -- The period of performance will be for a 1-year base period with four 1-year option periods -- After release of the solicitation, it is anticipated the closing date for receipt of proposals will be 45 days thereafter -- The date of the preproposal conference, to be held at the George C. Marshall Space Flight Center, will be included in the solicitation -- The small and small disadvantaged business goals established for this procurement provide for a minimum goal of 30 percent of the total proposed contract value to small business concerns, which includes 15 percent to small disadvantaged business concerns -- All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
