Notice is hereby provided that the Department of the Navy, Engineering Field Activity, Midwest and the Navy Public Works Center, Material Department, have Electronic Commerce/Electronic Data interchange capability and have received certification of Interim FACNET in accordance with Subpart 4.5 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act. The simplified acquisition procedures in the FAR Part 13 will be used for purchases under $100,000. As of December 4, 1995 requests for quotations in this price range will be issued for the Federal Acquisition Computer Network (FACNET) for supplies and services, and construction.
