Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for a High Performance Logic Analyzer, Tektronix model #TLS216 or equivalent. The analyzer will be used to test the development of custom highspeed digital equipment with bandwidths exceeding 2 GBits/sec. The Logic Analyzer shall provide the capability to analyze 16 Digital Channels simultaneously with a realtime bandwidth of 500 megahertz per channel and a sampling rate of 2 GSamples/s. The Logic Analyzer shall operate with TTL, ECL and CMOS logic families. The Logic Analyzer shall provide support for the IEEE 488 computer interface, IBM DOS compatible 3.5 inch floppy disk, HPGL plotter, and VGA color output.
