402-3355. This is a notification of intent to procure professional
services from Chin Chiang, 5901 Tamar Drive Unit 12, Columbia, MD
21045, which include the following: 1. Shall analyze the function of
the SHH (Sonic Hedgehog) gene in mutant mice that include a null
mutation of the subject. 2. Shall analyze the function of the ''SHH''
gene during the development of embryonic mice. 3. Shall utilize a
thorough knowledge of both the macroscopic and microscopic anatomy of
the mouse nervous system, during development, to provide and advance
''SHH'' studies under laboratory conditions. 4. Shall utilize knowledge
of both histological and immunological staining procedures for ''SHH''
studies under laboratory conditions. 5. Experimentationa nd analysis
shall be performed in existing laboratory space within the Laboratory
of Mammalian Genes and Development. National Institute of Child Health
and Human Development, NIH. 6. Shall provide a minimum of two thousand
(2000) hours of professional work, experimentation, analysis, and
associated laboratory efforts to accomplish the subject studies and
tasks delineated above. 7. Shall include all necessary descriptive
literature/technical information describing the services including but
not limited to raw data, written reports, charts/graphs, computer
generated results, software to support the conclusions that are
developed. Telephone requests will not be honored. Affirmative
responses are defined as written responses, with all data enclosed that
are required to demonstrate their ability to satisfy this requirement.
Written responses must also include complete pricing information,
service description containing sufficient technical information to
permit agency analysis to establish a bonafide capability to meet the
stated requirements as listed above. Responses will be evaluated
according to who can meet the requirements at the most favorable terms
to the Government, and at the most reasonable price. Only affirmative
responses will receive full consideration. Responses are to be
