Carpentier, (713) 483-8281 Contract Officer: Yolande Harden, (713) 483-9953 NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) for the acquisition of a Global Positioning System Inertial Navigation System Development Test Object (GPS/INS DTO) and the refurbishment of an existing GPS/INS DTO for two separate STS flights scheduled for August and December of 1996. Delivery of the GPS/INS DTO is required to be in January of 1996. The Government is contemplating awarding to two vendors, one vendor per flight. Vendors will therefore be allowed to send in proposals for both flights or proposals for either flight 1 or flight 2.
