The Department of Treasury will provide long distance carriers access to a Digital Telecommunications Switching System (DTSS) to allow for the direct termination of inbound long distance calls/service to Treasury. The Treasury owned DTSS is located in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. No vendor provided equipment will be required in connection with this service. No solicitation package is available. If interested however, write or call for either an appointment and/or the 4 to 5 page document which provides more detail on the project and the Treasury terms and conditions that may be necessary for inclusion in any resulting agreement. Any interested firm whose volume of long distance traffic to the Treasury DTSS is substantial to the extent that Treasury would benefit from providing this service will be considered.
