Y -- FY94 MCON PROJECT P-468, PHASE III, INDUSTRIAL WASTE TREATMENT COMPLEX FOR NAVY PUBLIC WORKS CENTER, PEARL HARBOR, HAWAII SOL N62742-94-B-1320 DUE 121595 POC Contact Roxanne Vannatta, Procurement Technician, Jane Nishiguchi, Contract Specialist, (808) 474-7320 The work includes the construction of the IWTC which consists of four separate buildings (Administration/Process Control Laboratory Building, Treatment Building, Oxygen Breathing Apparatus (OBA Building, and Utility Building). It also includes the construction of an Off-Site Parking lot. The IWTC site improvements include some demolition of existing pavement and utilities as well as installation of the new underground utilities and pavement. The site work will also include the installation of high voltage switchgear, oil flooded transformer, and low voltage switchgear. The building structures will require over excavation and imported select fill for the foundations. The Admin/PCL, Treatment, and Utility buildings will be pre- engineered metal building structures with pre-finished metal roof and fascia. The OBA building will be a concrete structure with explosion skylights and pre-finished exterior siding and fascia. All the buildings include construction of interior and exterior finishes, flooring, wood and steel doors, gypsum wallboard partitions, industrial ventilation and exhaust systems, plumbing, wet pipe heat activated fire extinguisher systems, electrical wiring and lighting, fire alarm systems, exterior pavement and improvements, and incidental related work. The Admin/PCL building will include air conditioning, and laboratory casework and furnishings. The Treatment building will include process equipment to conduct the treatment of waste waters. This equipment will include steel and fiberglass tanks, centrifugal, progressive cavity, and metering pumps, a campus compressed air system, and various process equipment skids. The OBA building will be the only electrically classified structure at Class II Division II. The Utility builing will include an engine generator with sub-base fuel tank as well as electrical equipment. Remove the construction barriers at the completion of the work. Estimated cost is more than $10,000,000. THE SIC CODE FOR THIS PROCUREMENT IS 1541 AND THE ANNUAL SIZE STANDARD IS $17 MILLION.
