includes replacing five (5) anode wells, installing four (4) test
stations, repairing two (2) structures bonding connections and
incidental related work for the cathodic protection system protecting
the Ford Island Ferry terminal structures. In addition, this project
shall test all structural bond connections to insure proper operation
of the cathodic protection system. Deteriorated bond connections shall
be replaced. The solicitation is a performance specification that
represents the Government's minimum requirements. The contractor is
responsible for and shall provide overall coordination and design of
construction details (100% design drawings, shop drawings, etc.) and
ensure a fully functional system covered under this contract. The
solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require
offerors to submit a technical and price proposal for evaluation by the
Government. The Contractor shall commence 30 calendar days after award
and complete the work within 180 calendar days after commencement.
Davis-Bacon Act applies to this solicitation. Estimated cost is between
$250,000 and $500,000. Issue date will be on or about 22 November 1995,
proposal receipt date approximately 30 calendar days after issue. This
