Location: Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL 61299-5000. The work to be performed includes the following features but not limited to these: 1. Demolish existing 2400vswitchgear, including associated 2400V feeders and transformers. 2. Demolish 14-208Y/120V panelboards shown on drawings. 3. Provide additional section to match existing 480V switchboard. 4. Provide 13-208Y/120V panelboards shown on drawings. 5. Provide 10-480-208Y/120V dry type transformers shown on drawings. 6. Provide feeders to new transformers/panelboards. Reconnect existing Branch circuits. 7. Provide new Bus duct and fused plug in units. The general outline of the principal features does not in any way limit the responsibilities of the contractor to perform the work under this contract. Presolicitation notices will be issued 01 Nov 95 and are due Back 13 days after issue. Estimated magnitude between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Type of KT: Firm-fixed priceconstruction. Performance period is 120 days after notice to proceed. Approximate issue date is 16 Nov 95 with opening date 30 days fromissue.
