This procurement is to acquire services pertaining to the direct endorsement technical review of mortgage applications for single-family properties. A detailed review will be required along with the verification of the maximum mortgage amount. This includes analyzing and reviewing credit histories, sales contracts and all HUD forms necessary; determining minimum cash investment requirements; and verifying that all mortgage credit conditions have been met. The contractor shall perform reviews for reverse mortgage loans, 203 (b) loans, and for 203 (k) mortgage loans. All reviews are to be completed and returned to the New York field office within three working days of receipt. HUD is contracting for reviews of up to six (6) thousand cases for the State of New York. Reviews will cover properties in the five boros of New York City and the counties of Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Orange, Rockland and Putnam. Contract is for one year with options to renew for two additional one year terms. Bid packages shall be available after November 9, 1995 at HUD's New York Office.
