The amount of work would be approximately 4000 to 5000 lines a day, Monday through Friday. The material will consist of outpatient progress notes, histories, physicals, psychology reports, social work reports, and radiology reports. Information regarding material to be transcribed will be from the Supervisor, Medical Administration (136P), VA Outpatient Clinic, Peoria, Illinois. Medical material transcribed includes a high incidence of technical terminology and requires a wide knowledge of specialized vocabulary peculiar to a variety of medical subjects including: audiology, cardiology, surgery, endocrinology, general medicine, neurology, oncology, optometry, podiatry, psychiatry, psychology, radiology, social work and urology.
