Ector, (214)302-7523 Contractor to provide all supplies, equipment, materials, transportation, and support for approximately seven hundred (700) pager units - consisting of both alphanumeric and digital pagers - and one alphamate system which will be used to provide alpha paging until the Medical Center's Decentralized Hospital Computer Program can be modified to handle that task. When the DHCP modification has been successfully tested, the Medical Center will be able to exchange digital pagers for alphanumeric pagers on a one-for-one basis. Nonfunctioning pager units will be replaced from a stock of spares maintained at the Medical Center; this stock of spares shall be kept at a constant level. Pagers must be able to function continuously, twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week, including holidays. Defined coverage areas include the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area, an extended area beyond the normal metro boundaries, and a wider area within North and Central Texas. Pager units to be provided must be equal in its features to the Motorola Advisor and/or Motorola Memo Express Alphanumeric Pager, or the Motorola Bravo Express and/or Motorola Bravo Plus Digital Pager. Performance period will begin on or about January 1, 1996, and run through September 30, 1996, with two (2) options to renew for a period of one (1) year each; Option Year I will be October 1, 1996 through September 30, 1997, and Option Year II will be October 1, 1997 through September 30, 1998. Issue date for bid packages will be on or about November 20, 1995. Bid opening date will be on or about December 20, 1995.
