Administration (FAA), Western-Pacific Region, has a requirement to
provide, install and demolish all necessary labor, equipment and
materials except Government Furnished Material, necessary to furnish
and install (1) 400A Automatic Transfer and Bypass/Isolation Switch;
(1) 400A Main C.B. Disconnect Switch; (3) 400A Dist. Board & Breakers;
install (1) Lightning Surge Suppresser; Feeders, Branch Circuit
Conduit and Wires; Fittings, Ducting, & Weather Door; relocation of
existing Lightning Surge Arrester from Manual Transfer Switch to lead
side of main C.B. Disconnect Switch; existing M/G set from auxiliary
radome to inside of building adjacent to E/G room; remove and dispose
of existing main Dist. Board, Manual Transfer Switch, disconnect
Switches and Junction Boxes, Feeders, Branch Circuit Wires, Conduits,
J-Boxes Wiring Gutter and misc. supports; Core Drill of Block Wall for
Feeders and Small Branch Circuit Conduit penetration and trenching.

1731. The range of this solicitation is between $100,000.00 and
$250,000.00. This solicitation will be issued on or about December 3,
1995 with a public bid opening to be held approximately 30 days after

informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged
Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of
Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to
assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to
acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for
transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible
prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program
enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to
1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on
the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also avilable
under the DOT Short Term Lending Programs (STLP), at prime interest
rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximun line of
