Contact Contracting Division at: (402)221-4266. The work will include
the following: (Approx. quantities) BUILDING WORK includes construction
of a new Maintenance Dock Facility (54,480 SF) consisting of two
maintenance bay areas separated by a support area. Construction
materials will consist of 8-inch CMU exterior walls, open-web steel
joists, steel roof deck, CMU fire rated interior wall construction,
gypsum wallboard, elastomeric roofing, hangar doors, sheet metal
siding, slab on grade, safety harness monorail, and Hydrant/CASS
Utility Pits. The support area will include electrical, mechanical
(i.e. HVAC, wet pipe and AFFF inverted deluge and overhead deluge fire
protection systems, plumbing, toilets), lightning protection CCTV
system and communications. SITE WORK includes: 2500 kVA padmounted
transformer and electrical service line, removal of existing airfield
pavement and placement of new PCC Apron Pavement, new Concrete Convoy
Roads with subdrains and associated grading, domestic water, sanitary
sewer, waste drain and fire water service lines and sanitary sewer
collection piping. The estimated construction cost of this project is
between $15,000,000 and $20,000,000. Contractor's Quality Control will
be a requirement in this contract. The Contractor will be required to
commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the
work 450 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions
will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete
the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be
required. Bid sets will be available on/a November 13, 1995. Half-size
plans and specifications will be furnished upon request. All requests
for solicitation packages should be made in writing no later than 14
days prior to bid opening. After such time, packages will be furnished
if supply is available. It has been determined that the number of sets
be limited to 1 (one) per firm (additional copies will be the
responsibility of the requestor). Please list street address (for

time during the solicitation, selection, selection evaluation,
negotiation and/or final award structure and disposition of US Armed
