Plans and specifications 213-894-5638. Project consists of marsh
restoration in three parts totaling approximately 50 acres. Part I
consists of planting salt marsh vegetation (Pacific Cordgrass and
Pickleweed) on approximately 7 acres of the North marsh. This includes
clearing, grubbing and disposal of any rudural species in the area.
Part II located in the South marsh (approximately 40 acres), consists
of selective clearing and grubbing of identified exotic specimens,
removal of garbage and debris, replanting of salt marsh vegetation.
Part III consists of planting coastal sage scrub in areas between North
and South marsh, approximately 2.5 acres. SIC Code is 1629, Heavy
Construction, Except Dredging, N.E.C., $17M average annual gross
revenue for the last three (3) fiscal years. The estimated cost range
is $100,000 - $250,000. Plans and specifications will be available on
or about November 14, 1995 at a cost of $8.00 bound-in half-size dwgs
w/spec and $12.00 full-size dwgs w/spec--non-refundable. All
responsible sources may submit an offer. Small and disadvantaged firms
ar encouraged to participate as Prime Contractors or as members of
joint ventures with other small businesses. In addition, all interested
contractors are reminded that the successful contractor will be
expected to place subcontracts to the maximum practicable extent with
small and disadvantaged firms in accordance with the provisions of
Public Law 95-507. Any contract awarded under this solicitation shall
be made pursuant to Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness
