A CPFF level-of-effort-type contract is contemplated for statistical
and computationalactivities in support of the National Institute of
Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS),including development and
maintenance of various Toxicology Data Management System(TDMS) reports
that summarize and analyze data from toxicity and special studies.
Thecontractor will also provide statistical evaluation of these studies
as needed. It is estimated therewill be 25 toxicity and special studies
per year and 12 long-term rodent carcinogenicity studiesduring each of
the first two years of the contract and possibly a lesser number
(approximately 8)during the final three years of the contract
(including the two option years). In addition, therewill be
approximately 40 requests annually for ''special'' statistical analyses
of tumors ornonneoplastic lesions. Special requirements include the
necessity for maintaining personnelproficient in statistics and
biostatistics, toxicology/carcinogenesis, toxicokinetics,
riskassessment, and statistical computing/data processing. The
Contractor must maintain anoperational office in the Research Triangle
Park, North Carolina, area. The Governmentanticipates the annual level
of effort to be approximately 4 person-years professional, 2
person-years technical, and one person-year clerical. The proposed
requirement is a follow-on tocontract N01-ES-15324. All qualified
responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall beconsidered. See
