A -- MODIFICATION TO SCIENTIFIC AND ENGINEERING TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE (SETA) SOL DNA001-95-C-0002 POC Jennifer Seaton, Negotiator, (703) 325-9368, Edward Archer, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-5028. This effort is a sole source modification to the SETA contract which will provide support to the Defense Nuclear Agency (DNA) on issues and taskings originating from the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Atomic Energy) (ASD (AE)) dealing with Strategic Arms Control and Non-Proliferation issues. Activities require a high degree of technical familiarity with these issues and objectives. ATSD (AE) has tasked Field Command (FC) DNA to work some strategic arms control issues in support of HQ DNA as related to the enduring stockpile of nuclear weapons. This work is clearly SETA work and it is not cost effective for the Government to issue another SETA contract for this additional support. The Government believes SAIC is the only source who can perform this work due to their extensive knowledge and experience under the CTR program as the SETA contractor.
