B -- GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES, DIVISION OF PUBLIC HEALTH, EMERGENCY RESPONSE RECOVERY AND MITIGATION INTERNAL OPERATING PROCEDURES Funded by a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an Invitation to Bid (ITB) is issued by the Georgia Department of Human Resources, Division of Public Health, 2 Peachtree Street, Suite 7300, Atlanta, Georgia 30303, POC William C. Fields, Deputy Director 404/657-2700, to acquire the services of a qualified firm to develop a comprehensive Division Emergency Response (Disaster) Recovery and Mitigation Internal Operating Procedures for Health and Medical Services. Contractor will establish the organization, basic policies, delegations of authority, responsibilities and actions required for the effective mobilization, decision-making and the maximum utilization of resources by public health staff during an occurrence requiring an emergency response, as well as establish a system for recovery and mitigation. The contractor will provide training and simulation exercises for procedure implementation and provide follow up consultation and modification services for revisions of the procedures throughout the contract period for the Troup County Board of Health.
