This is a notice rescinding the Request for Proposals (RFP) for Establishment of a Fair Housing Services Center (FHSC), dated July 5, 1995. This also serves as notice of the issuance of a revised version of this RFP, dated October 17, 1995, to establish a FHSC as required by a consent decree resolving litigation in a case known as Sanders v. HUD. The FHSC will be responsible for performing a number of activities to facilitate the desegregation of federally assisted low-income housing in the jurisdiction in which the ACHA operates. It will make all offers and provide appropriate counseling to all applicants on a merged waiting list of applicants for ACHA and other subsidized housing providers. This revised solicitation will be available on or about October 30, 1995.
