Schuck, Contracting Officer V-The Naval Air Warfare Center, Training
Systems Division, Orlando, Florida intends to issue an unrestricted,
full and open competitive solicitation that will require the relocation
of two Device 2F154 F-14D Weapon Systems Trainer with dual Forty (40)
foot domes, a Tactical Environmental System and Debrief station, and
options for one device 2F153, F-14B Mission Flight Trainer, with Thirty
(30) foot dome, from NAS Miramar, CA to NAS Oceana, VA. The period of
performance for the acquisition will be 18 months; i.e., the time from
disassembly of the first trainer to the Ready For Training (RFT) date
of the last system relocated shall be 18 months. Anticipated award
date is 30 June l995. Standard Industrial Code applicable to this
action is 8711. Requirement shall include but not be limited to
performing in-line distortion correction on, and operation and
alignment of the ESIG-500 Image Generation system, and modify ESIG-500
visual system software to calibrate and align McDonnell Douglas
Training Systems Laser Target Projectors, EIS CRT Projectors, and GE
Talaria MLV/SLV Background, Inset and Color Target Projectors, removal
of calibration points and determination and installation of new
calibration points on visual system domes; disaasemble, reassemble, ad
design and install new surface to replace display screens for 30 and
40 foot spherical domes; identify capability to operate, troubleshoot
and repair Encore 32/67 and RSX multinode computer systems, Fokker
control loader systems, McDonnell Training System's Artificial RADAR
Image Generation Systems (ARIGS), and SBS RADAR Simulation Systems;
align Fokker control loader systems; modify trainers and/or facilities
to adapt to differing facility configurations; modify or manufacture
visual dome projector platforms and trainer station access platforms to
accommodate varying facility configurations and experience with FORTRAN
(C( and Encore Assembly Languages, as well as MPX and UNIX operating
systems. Request for RFP N61339-96-R-0004 must be submitted in writing
