The US Army Armament Research, Development, and Engineering Center is seeking qualified firms who can respond to a request for proposal for a Four year contract for the development and testing of an improved Sense and Destroy Armor (SADARM) Submunition for 155mm M898 projectile application. The Submunition will have a greater stand-off range, approximately three times the current footprint with an improved lethal mechanism. Commercially available, state-of-the-art electronics shall be used to the greatest extent possible to enhance target detection.
