Carderock Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center is seeking expressions of interest and general information from potential sources regarding York International Corporation's Refrigeration Compressors, P/N RN-62 and FN-62. These compressors will be used to replace old and obsolete compressors in the main Refrigeration Plants on the following class ships: RN-62 will be for CVN-68, CVN-69, CVN-70, CV-70 and LPD-4 through 6. The FN-62 will be for the DD-963 class.This is not a request for propsal and does not commit the government to the award of a contract. Any comments provided may or may not included in a formal solicitation. The government will not pay for any information recieved in response to this RFI nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost occured in developing the information provided to the Government.
