Carderock Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center is seeking expressions of interest and general information from potential sources regarding Carrier Transicold Corporation's Refrigeration Compressors, P/N 5MF-60 and 5MF-40-444. These compressors will be used to replace old and obsolete compressors in the main Refrigeration Plants on the following class ships: 5MH-60 will be for LHD-1 class. The 5MF-40 will be for DDG-51 class. This is not a request for proposal and does not commit the government to the award of a contract. Any comments provided may or may not be included in a formal solicitation. The government wil not pay for any information recieved in response to this RFI nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost occurred in developing the information provided to the Government.
