Circuit Card Assembly, Part Number 12749-60001, NSN: 5998-01-195-6588 for a quantity of 10 each. The original source for this item was Hewlett Packard Corporation. No technical data for this circuit card assembly is available from the Army. The Government is proposing to procure the circuit card assembly from Star-Tek, Inc. who is the only known source of obsolete Hewlett Packard circuit card assemblies for HP2113e+014, 1000E Series Computer. All interested parties wishing to do business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive data from CECOM EBB System. The US Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established an Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) to provide electronic transmittal of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Invitation for Bid (IFBs) expected to exceed 25 thousand dollars from Government to Industry. Suppliers capable of furnishing this item must include documentation such as test results, purchase order number from Hewlett Packard or a statement from Hewlett Packard Corp. certifying that the supplier can provide the item and that the item will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the Circuit Card Assembly manufactured by Hewlett Packard Corporation. Successful suppliers may be required to warrant the item supplied such that it will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released O/A 17 November 1995 with an estimated closing date of 18 December 1995. To become a user of the EBB you will need an identification code and password in addition to a computer terminal equipped with the necessary hardware and software to interface with the EBB Systems. Detailed information regarding system requirements is contained in the US Army CECOM EBB User's Manual. A User's Manual, identification code and password will be issued upon request. All requests must include 1) Company Name 2) Point of Contact Name (s) and Title (s), 3) return address(es), and 4) telephone number(s).
