The U.S. Postal Service is seeking sources who can provide turn-key information systems to support its business needs with state-of-the-art information systems software solutions at their own sites and deploy the final product to the Postal Services. Sources must certified at Maturity Level 2 or higher according to the Carnegie-Melon Software Engineering Institute's Capability Maturity Model (CMM). Sources must be capable of providing firm- fixed price deliverable, submit proposals and plans within 5 working days, start work within 10 working days after receipt of order, communicate electronically with the Postal Service, and be able to deploy deliverables to anywhere in the United Sates. Primary deployment sites will be Washington, DC, Raleigh, NC, Minneapolis, MN, St. Louis MS, San Mateo, CA and Wilkes Barre, PA.
