The Naval Command, Control and Ocean Surveillance Center (NCCOSC) Research, Development, Test and Evaluation Division's (NRaD) Advanced Systems Division develops surveillance and security systems for a variety of applications, such as unmanned vehicle systems, waterside and inshore security and sensory signal processing systems. Tasks will include engineering services to support: 1) generation of technical requirements for system design based on mission needs and site survey analyses; (2) establishment of engineering program infrastructure; (3) initial prototype development and fabrication phases, including system design, equipment selection, procurement and integration; (4) prototype testing, including test plan development, field test support and test result analysis; (5) limited-run production efforts including systems assembly, acceptance test and subsequent logistic support including drawings and operation/maintenance documentation, fleet training; and, (6) follow-on system support including Pre-Planned Product Improvement (P3I).
