Engineering services for three years are required in support of the XM943 STAFF Projectile Program and other programs utilizing the M774/XM780 family of fuzes. Services may include fabrication of engineering prototypes, performing computer models and analyses, generating performance, test, reliability and safety requirements, furnishing of components for engineering evaluation and system tests, reviewing test plans and results, and reviewing Technical Data Packages (TDPs). In addition, services may include performing concept evaluation studies of new fuze designs in support of multi-purpose tank round development program. Each of these services will be specified in separate delivery orders. The US Army intends to solicit and negotiate with Bulova Technologies Inc., Lancaster, Pennsylvania for the above services. This contract action is based on the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, ''Only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements''.
