The St. Louis (MO) Housing Authority (SLHA) is soliciting proposals from qualified Architectural and Engineering firms for developer services at Darst-Webbe HOPE VI, located in the city of St. Louis. The SLHA is seeking proposals from professional developers with a proven track record to finance and implement an innovative and creative housing development in conjunction with the HOPE VI Darst-Webbe Program authorized by HUD. The desired outcome is a mixed-income community on the Darst-Webbe development site and creation of additional affordable housing in other locations of the Metropolitan St. Louis area, complete with community and supportive social services and economic development opportunities. The services are to address the goals of self sufficiency for public housing residents as well as the community at large. The selected firms must have at least: 1) ten years of satisfactory experience in working with a Public Housing Authority, HUD, local units of government, community development agencies, and/or related organizations, 2) successfully developed and constructed housing developments consisting of at least 100 units, and 3) minimum of five years management experience.
