BLAKE (404) 752-4188 (Site Code DAKF11) HQ Forces Command Army Atlanta Contracting Center, Fort McPherson, Georgia intends to procure, through full and open competition, a contract for base operations, Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, in support of a 500 person garrison. Services for base operations include, but are not limited to: food services; airfield operations, transportation services (stevedores, hauling etc.); port operations; excess equipment retrograde; supply operations; waste removal; maintenance of vehicles; laundry; minor construction and other logistic support services. Performance will be for a base period (to begin on/about 1 May 1996) and one option period. The planned release date for the Request for Proposals (RFP) is the first week of December with proposal receipt date to be the second week in January. A Pre-proposal conference will be held in Atlanta with the exact date and time to be determined. The request for RFP must be in writing accompanied by a non- refundable certified check, cashier's check or money order payable to the US Treasury in the amount of $50.00 per package.
