Boltz (717) 861-8798 (Site Code DAHA36) The work is to be performed for The Pennsylvania Air National Guard, 171st Air Refueler Wing, Pittsburgh International Airport, Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. The scope of work includes, but not limited to, providing all plant, materials, tools, labor, equipment, devices, supervision, and transportation necessary to construct an approximate 26,000 square foot fuel cell/corrosion control facility. The work consists of demolition and relocation of existing site utilities, storm drainage systems, fueling and underground piping systems, aircraft parking apron demolition, removal and replacement for unsuitable soils materials, installation of new utilities, and the construction of approximately 26,000 square foot of aircraft maintenance hangar with administrative areas, fire protection systems installation, and construction of new aircraft aprons. The performance has been estimated at 365 calendar days. The estimated construction range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation shall be issued as an ''UNRESTRICTED'' Invitation for Bid (IFB). The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1542. The applicable business size standard including affiliates is no more than $17 million average revenue for the previous three years. The project date for availability of the IFB is 10 JAN 96 with a projected Bid Opening date of 10 FEB 96. Invitations for Bid will be on a first come, first serve basis only with a limit to two (2) packages per Contractor. The cost for each IFB package will be $200. Submit a check payable to the ''Defense Accounting Office'' along with your written request. Requests for bid packages shall include the solicitation number and project name on company letterhead with responsible POC, telephone and FAX numbers included. Replies must indicate the firm's size status such as large, small, small disadvantaged business, or 8(a). Each business must also include their ''Federal Tax ID Number'' and corporate status, as defined by one of the following: a) corporation that provides medical or health care services, b) other corporate entity, c) a sole proprietorship, d) partnership, e) nonpofit entity that is exempt from taxation under 26 CFR 501(a).
