Y -- ADD/ALTER COMMISSARY FACILITY AT SCOTT AFB IL SOL F41689-96-B0001 DUE 112795 POC Anita Maldonado tel: 210/652-2491 The project provides for addition and upgrade to the entire commissary facility at Scott AFB, IL. Work includes but is not limited to the following: Construction of an addition approximately 200 SM (2,153 SF), construction of a mechanical mezzanine which is approximately 500 SM (5,382 SF); convert approximately 1930 SM (20,775 SF) of warehouse to sales, Deli/Bakery, produce preparation and display area; renovate approximately 3000 SM (32,293 SF) of sales area, upgrade HVAC system, and upgrade the store's interior decor. The project will provide space for new produce display area, delicatessen, bakery, health and beauty care alcove and additional dry goods shelving. The entire refrigeration system will be upgraded and all display cases will be replaced with environmentally safe systems using HCFC-22 refrigerant. Project also includes replacement of a portion of the existing roofing, flashing, and metal counterflashing. Phasing of construction will be required to allow full operation of the facility during construction. This acquisition is unrestricted. Magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Bid guarantee is required. All responsible bidders meeting the criteria set forth in the solicitation may submit a bid which would be considered by the government. Package should be available on or about 27 Nov 95.
