Entrance Doors - This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and performance necessary to remove the existing entrance door and install automatic sliding doors, motion detection and dual safety beam system on each set of doors. Work to be accomplished includes, but is not limited to, removing and replacing existing entrance doors and install Hortors Automatic sliding doors (or equivalent) with 14 ft unit width and 72 in clear door opening. Install security limited access package with 2 position switch to be located at the lobby desk. Package shall allow full auto operation in position 1 and access by recognition only from the lobby desk in position 2. The package shall also allow automatic exit by motion control in position 2. Panic devices shall be provided for exit with power loss. Provide required electrical power for doors and accessories from new circuits connected to panel ``B'' located in electrical room. Use spare 20 amp breakers route thru door frames and above ceilings. Magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. Anticipated issuance date for Solicitation Number F14614-96-T0644 is 17 Nov 95. Tentative opening date is 24 Nov 95. Performance period will be 45 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Standard Classification Code is 1522. This action is set-aside 100% for Emerging Small Business (ESB) concerns.
