This project consists of the complete tear-off and replacement of the existing lower roof system as well as the addition of new roof insulation. This project also includes removal and proper disposal of asbestos-containing materials. The work required for this project occurs on an existing building (approximately 30,970 sq. ft.) which is occupied and will continue to be occupied during course of construction. It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to properly coordinate the selective demolition and reconstruction in order to maintain a weathertight, operational facility throughout the construction period and to insure a coordinated, finished installation in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Construction cost is estimated in range of $125,000 and $150,000. Evaluation criteria to be used in determining the award are: (1) Price; (2) Experience - minimum of five (5) years similar projects; and (3) past performance.
