The National Park Service, Mount Rainer National Park intends to award a 5-year concessions contract for continued operation of a mountaineering guide service, including guided summit attempts, avalanche seminars, snow and ice climbing schools, sale of mountain climbing and hiking merchandise, and rental of mountaineering equipment. Location of Mount Rainer is in Southwest Washington, approx. 86 miles south-east of Seattle. Concession currently generates approximately $1.2 million in annual gross receipts.
