70 -- SUPPORT SERVICES POC Joanne Tarr Tel: (410) 965-9474 The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate with Sterling Software, 4600 Lakehurst Ct., Dublin, Ohio 43017 for technical support services for the installation, customization, problem determination, and implementation of the Sterling Software software products listed below. This software was licensed by the Social Security Administration via an InterAgency Agreement. The services will require the support of highly technical Systems Engineers(SE) who have intimate knowledge of and direct access to the latest version and release of the referenced software. The SEs shall have a high level of expertise in all of the referenced software and their use in a large-scale enterprise wide-area network. The SEs shall guide SSA in the installation and use of the referenced software through education and guidance, first-use and tuning assistance, problem solving, and critical situation resolution. The SE shall identify and communicate with product developers the requirements and deficiencies in Sterling's software products and in technical support programs pertinent to SSA's specific environment, and propose possible solutions.
