Crouse, (202) 685-3162 As a modification to a previously published announcement in the Commerce Business Daily on 16 October 1995 under Solicitation Number N68925-94-B-A003, the following changes have been made: New solicitation number is N62477-96-B-0009. The proposed procurement is UNRESTRICTED. The work includes repairs to East Wing of Building 12 consisting of asbestos removal; removing and providing new partitions; providing handicapped ramps, wheelchair lift and toilets; replacing and providing acoustical ceilings; replacing plumbing fixtures and associated piping; upgrading the existing 2-pipe fan coil system by providing new fan coil units, new conditioned ventilation air systems, new dual temperature piping pump heat exchanger and controls; replacement of electrical wiring; installing new light fixtures; and incidental related work. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick-up a copy of the solicitation on the First Floor, Plans, Issue and Specification Room, between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday at the address listed above. There will be no charge for these documents, however, only one set will be issued per contractor. Please note that the solicitation will be issued on a first-come, first-serve basis.
