The U.S. Army Missile Command (MICOM) Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) has a requirement for the acquisition of 69 IPDS, and 19 MS, with associated hardware as required. The objective is to procure two configurations of ''interim launchers,'' one configuration capable of firing the Army Tactical Missile System (Army TACMS) Block IA to include modified Missile Launch Pod Assembly (MLPA) trainers; and one to more accurately fire the Extended Range (ER)-MLRS. The proposed acquisition will be a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract with Loral Vought Systems (LVS), Dallas, Texas.
