Naval Air Systems Command intends to procure a integrated solid state
57 channel flight data parameter, voice, safety, structural and engine
monitoring system. The integration of the Flight Data and Structural
Recorder includes; non-recurring engineering including publications and
logistic support analysis, kits, installation of kits, system checkout,
ground support, flight test validation of the systems capabilities and
analysis of flight test data. A contract modification will be issued
on a sole source basic to Chrysler Technologies Airborne Systems. Inc.
(CTAS), Waco, TX under contract N0019-94-C-0224 to support the
aircraft currently under contract including options. CTAS is the only
source with the prerequisite knowledge and experience in design,
development, production and testing of the integration process into the
