PR-NO: ARG95305047001, the defense Supply Center at Richmond intends to establish a base-year and four-option-year requirements type contract with multiplemanufacturers/vendors for all Commercial photographic supply and equipment products in the 6525/6635 Stock classes and the 67 Stock group. All items submitted for consideration must identify the original manufacturer'spart number, and an award will be made to all responsible offerors for the lowest evaluated offer of each manufacturer part number. The Government requests all products offered have a history of, or potential of, annual sales/demand transactions to the GOV'T in excess of (to be determined by date of Solicitation issue) in order to warrant pre-award and Post award contract review and administration. To be responsive to thesolicitation, all offers are required to be provided in both an electronic media format copy and a hard copy. The electronic media format copy will be predefined by the GOV'T and provided upon release of Solicitation. Offers not provided in the predefined electronic media format copy will be considered non-responsive offers. Currently, the GOV'T only intends to accept electronic media offers submitted using dbase IV software or an ASCII flat file format that can be directly importedinto a dbase IV database structure. The electronic media submission will be used by the GOV'T (1) to determine the lowest priced offered items (I.E., duplicate manufacturer part numbered items offered by more than one offeror), (2) to perform GOV'T pricing analyses to determine Fair and reasonable prices,(3) to create national Stock Numbers (NSNS) for all items not currently assigned NSNS, and (4) to generate a GOV'T information/marketing catalog for distribution to all Government ordering activities.
