The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Divsion, Coastal Systems Station (COASTSYSTA) has conducted design studies of a Tunable Bandpass Solid State Camera System for standoff mine detection under solicitation N61331-93-R-0041. It is now desired to obtain a demonstration or demonstrations of tunable filter camera technology which can detect mines at standoff distances from an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). An UNCLASSIFIED meeting will be held at 0800 on 21 November 1995 at the Long Glass Club, Coastal Systems Station, Panama City, Florida for the purpose of clarification of requirements for a Tunable Filter Multispectral Camera deployable from a UAV for mine detection. Subsequent to the meeting COASTSYSTA will entertain proposals for camera technology demonstration under the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) N00178-96-Q-1002 of 26 October 1995. The reports of the design studies completed under solicitation N61331-93-R-0041 will be made available at the meeting. Attendance is limited to two (2) representatives per company or potential team.
