Q -- PROVIDE MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING SERVICES SOL RFP 123-0451. Due 112795. Contact Kim Montgomery, Contract Specialist, 606/254-8446. Provide on site services in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services at the Federal Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky. This is considered a contractual agreement and not a personnel appointment. The estimated issue date for this award is November 27, 1995. The contractor shall provide on a non-discriminatory basis, services to provide and perform routine MRI procedures as requested through consultations approved by the Clinical Director of the Federal Medical Center. Services shall include written reports to FMC. Written requests shall be sent to FMC within three days from date of interpretation. All services will be provided on the premises of FMC using a mobile MRI unit. The contractor shall use generated power because the power supply of the FMC cannot presently meet the needs of a mobile MRI unit. Any emergency MRI shall be performed outside this contract using the current contract medical center. The contractor shall perform and interpret the following examinations: (including but not limited to MRI of the head, spine, thorax and musculoskeletal system. The contractor shall provide a registered MRI technologist and a driver/technical assistant. The contractor shall also provide a radiologist board certified by the American College of Radiology and currently licensed as a physician in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. This radiologist shall provide all interpretations of any MRI completed under this contract. Services shall be provided on one Saturday per month, to be mutually agreed by the hospital administration and the contractor. The service shall be provided between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. The anticipated period of performance is from date of award through twelve months. All responsible sources may submit an offeror which will be considered. This requirement is set a side for small business.
