S -- TRASH REMOVAL SERVICES Sol. USDC-96-B-0001. Due 020796. Contact Mr. Fernandez, Contracting Officer, 305-536-3051. This is a correction to a previous CBD dated, Oct 25, 1995, page 7, Issue No. PSA-1459. This procurement appearing on Issue No. PSA-1459 was advertised with a classification code of ``J'' in lieu ``S''. Basic performance period has been changed. The contractor shall provide all management, labor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, and supervision and shall plan, schedule, coordinate, and assure effective performance of all trash removal services at the Federal Courthouse Square. The trash removal services consist of emptying one seventeen (17) cubic yards compactor, manufactured by Crosspak Compactors, height 40'' width 14'', depth 17'', weight 226 lbs, twice per week. The contractor shall be responsible for the proper maintenance of the compactor as per of the Statement of Work. The base performance period shall be from March 1, 1996 to 28 February 97, and will have four one option years. Each option year is subject to the FAR Clause 52.232-19, entitled Availability of Funds for the Next Fiscal Year (APR 84). The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. Evaluation of options will not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). Solicitation should be available in late December 95 or early Jan 96. Bid opening date as shown in item 10 above may be changed to reflect the issue date of the solicitation. Request for the solicitation package must be in writing to Mr. Fernandez. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated.
