PR-NO: YPG95310000000 the Defense General Supply Center (DGSC), plans to issuea draft request for proposal (RFP) for services required for the DLA'S enhancing delivery program which will consist of a contracted logistics manager (LM) operation for distributing material from vendors to DLA customers and Distribution Depot. The services may be provided for all five inventory control points (icps) which includes the Defense General Supply Center, Richmond, VA; Defense Industrial Supply Center, Philadelphia, PA; defense Personnel support, Philadelphia, PA; Defense Construction Supply Center, Columbus, OH; and Defense Electronics Supply Center, Dayton, OH. A pre-solicita-tion conference will be Held on November 27, 1995 at 1:00 P.M. Additional information shall follow. DGSC anticipates using a phased competition approach. The Phases shall consist of concept development (phasei), proof of concept (phase II), and full implementa tion (phase III). DGSC anticipates full and open competition which may result in more than one award for phase I. A competition among the phase I contractors leads to contract(S) for phase II.
