Work includes demolishing one 6-unit flush toilet with showers and replace with a new 6-unit flush toilet with showers, including connecting a septic tank/disposal field system at Boykin Springs Recreation Area, Jasper, County, Texas. Existing and proposed structures are concrete slab on grade foundation with concrete block walls and wood framed roof. Project also includes installing approximately 14,200 L.F. 4'' water main with appurtenances and interior water distribution systems consisting of 4'', 3'' and 2'' piping with appurtenances. Demolish one 21'-4''x21-4'' toilet building. Building is CMU construction with flat wood framed roof and concrete slab on grade foundation. Construct one 31'-8''x26'-8'' toilet building with 4'-0'' concrete walks all around. Building will be CMU construction with pitched wood framed roof and concrete slab on grade foundation. Building eterior will be either split-faced concrete block exterior (Alternate #1) or wood siding above stone exterior (Alternate #2). Bidders will submit bids on both alternatives and the Forest Service will select one based on availability of funds. Construct septic tank, gravity sewer line, and wastewater disposal field.
