The work consists of the repair and modernization of 8 electronic traction geared elevators (7 passenger and 1 freight). Includes cab refurbishment, new doors, hardware, and operators, machines, governors, fixtures, guide shoes, generators, counterweights, buffers, rails, roller guides, car signal panels, push-buttons, hall laterns, AC/DC drives, controls, safeties, wiring, cables, and brakes to conform with ADA, fire code, and elevator safety code requirements. Installer must engage elevator manufacturer or be approved by the elevator manufacturer and have completed elevator installations similar in material, design and extent to that indicated for this project.
